Location: Sigonella, Italy
Duties & Role:
• Identify and resolve minor design issues.
• Identify alternative design options and seek guidance when deviating from established design patterns.
• Specify the technical configurations and components required for small networks or network segments within more complex infrastructures, ensuring compliance with organisational architectures and standards.
• Conduct integration testing in accordance with defined test specifications, recording failures, analysing results, and reporting issues and risks.
• Contribute to the operational configuration of network active devices.
• Assist in the investigation and resolution of network infrastructure issues.
• Perform specified maintenance procedures for Siemens telephone switchboards, Desk/DECT phones, and VoIP/VoSIP telephony systems.
• Set up, manage and support AV infrastructure for digital meetings and events, including streaming and recording solutions.
• Plan, document and execute AV implementation activities in collaboration with customers, ensuring excellent communication and service delivery.
• Prepare and manage mobile streaming studios, including videowalls, greenscreens and associated AV equipment.
• Produce technical plans and Run of Show documentation for digital and hybrid conferences and events.
• Instruct and supervise technical teams during larger digital and hybrid conferences and events.
• Design and create digital assets, including jingles, banners and other signage for meetings and events.
• Provide support for Cisco Webex, Microsoft Teams and other digital event and meeting platforms.
• Deliver first-line support and troubleshooting for conference scheduling, video bridging, recording and related services.
• Monitor, identify, verify and diagnose issues affecting AV/VTC resources and services.
• Carry out corrective actions under the direction of NDW Engineers (VTC).
• Provide on-site meeting support, including rapid issue resolution during live events.
• Deploy hardware to user offices as required.
• Provide on-site support, including occasional out-of-hours assistance when required.
Requirements:
• Currently hold an active NATO SECRET security clearance.
• Minimum of two years' experience working within an international or multinational organisation.
• Minimum of two years' experience managing Cisco Local Area Network (LAN) devices and end-user devices.
• Experience troubleshooting and configuring Polycom Video Teleconferencing (VTC) devices.
• Experience setting up and operating audio-visual equipment for indoor and outdoor events.
• Strong customer service and stakeholder communication skills.
